The so-called Vague Inventory of Ailments and States is a pictorial investigation of the textural details observed in anatomical and geological structures. The work sought to categorise textures - like a pictorial inventory focused on the textures of certain pathologies and rock formation - drawing parallels between different kinds of organic growth.
