To celebrate their 20th anniversary, 55DSL have teamed up with APN to create a one-of-a kind cruiser long-board.Taking APN’s historically inspired design, 55dsl have added their own touch to create the “55” inch APN cruiser. Limited to twenty boards worldwide, each board is numbered with a year of 55DSL’s existence, numbered 00-20. The APN x 55DSL cruisers are all handmade and are all made from sustainable birch and mahogany. 

The partnership of the two brands made perfect sense, APN is a British brand influenced by Americana Surf Culture whose cruiser boards were inspired by Tom Sims and have been custom built to look and feel like the great mans first “waterski” skateboard, *it was Sims who skated waterskis before skateboards became what we know today, whilst 55DSL, an Italian brand founded by Andrea Rosso, has its grass roots in the underground skate and surf sub-culture.https://vimeo.com/97733267To celebrate this special collaboration, APN x 55DSL will be a hosting an event on Thursday 29th May at the Hoxton Gallery where the special edition cruiser long boards and a unique selection of photographs entitled ‘Skate & Chips’ cruising the British sea-side by Ollie Groves featuring them in motion will be on display.
