Group Show | iScream Factory
An exhibition by the vagabond collective of emerging creatives inspired by ice cream as a metaphor for life’s fragilities.I Scream Factory is a non-profit web-gallery and collective project showcasing ice cream-inspired work across fashion, photography, film and fine art. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, ISF returns with a new pop-up exhibition, showcasing a blend of new, exclusive commissions and existing work. Artists showing work in the exhibition include Takeshi Suga (Japan), Lena Vazhenina (Russia), Chloe Tun Tun (Swiss/Burmese), Maxim Emelyanov (Russia), Nadia Sarwar (US), Melissa Eveleigh Evans (UK), Anastasia Zesenkova (UK), John Gribben (UK), Aitor Santomé (Spain), Guglielmo Profeti (Italy), Sara Mautone (Italy), Tung Shing Wong (UK) and Alexandra Plesner (Austria).
The emerging Japanese photographer Takeshi Suga contributes since 2011 to the project. He places his subject in a dreamy wilderness, where ice cream evades reality.Chloe Tun Tun, alternatively, grounds her photographs within Jarmusch’s cinematography and recurrent use of lines as way of narrative direction, using shadow and linear pattern in her dreamy and suggestive series.https://vimeo.com/109869250
