London International Pasteup Festival

5 - 7 November 2021 11am - 6pm

OTZ and Art House Project London have partnered to create the first London paste up Festival. We have been overwhelmed with the response from artists from around the world. The festival will be brightening the walls of Shoreditch this November.

Over 200 artists from all over the world will have their posters pasted on walls as part of large colleges in dedicated locations and secret locations around London’s unofficial arts district, Shoreditch.

We encourage visitors to enjoy the festival and can also recommend guided tours for those people that want to seek out more locations.

There will also be an accompanying exhibition featuring 30 of the festival’s artists at Hoxton Gallery from 4-7th November. The exhibition will open with a private viewing on Thursday 4th November at 6pm with live paste-up art and music from DJ E-Kay.

On Saturday 6th November, there will be a preview of a short documentary about the festival and some of its artists by filmmaker Le Spleen and other activities focused around the paste up community.

Before the pandemic, many street artists visited London to paste their own work. Covid put a stop to that. This festival offers artists a chance to travel vicariously through their art to London.

LIPF also offers London street artists an opportunity to collaborate with their international peers and create amazing new collages that can be enjoyed by a wide audience.

The festival is organised by Art House Project London and Outside the Zone Gallery.

Art House Project, Apparan said: "Our aim is to introduce paste-ups as a form of street art to a wider audience through this international festival. We want to give the paste-up community some well- deserved recognition on the London street art scene.”

OTZ Gallery – Paste ups have a long history related to revolution and creating a dialogue with the masses. Art helps compound the message.
