Wafa Love | 2023 Open Studio

Artist Wafa Love invites us to explore her works in an open studio at Hoxton Gallery. 

“8 months ago I was planning a move to Margate, fate was against me, perhaps London wasn’t ready to let me go. 

Around the same time Kevin Martin, Hoxton Gallery, was taking on a new building, a 5 floor Georgian house, his plan was to turn it into an art gallery and artist studios. 

I was very fortunate to become an artist in residence in this amazing space. 

I’ve been painting for a decade, but never had the opportunity to have open studio because of limited space. I’m delighted to be able to do that now. I will be moving through older works, showing how it all started and also exhibiting more recent pieces. I'll also, for the first time, be sharing some affordable pieces. I look forward to hosting you for a night of art & music. We will have a bar and some very exciting live music performances.”
